The 31^st and 21^st Capilano went canoeing from Langdale to Plumper Cove. Things didn't work out as planned... we ended up at Porpoise Bay instead!

It took quite some time to load up all the canoes with our gear at Langdale. When we finally got under way, the weather had turned. The wind had picked up and we were finding it difficult to manuever away from the beach. We decided that the risk level was too high because of the weather conditions and abandoned our plans.

We trecked further up the coast and had a fish and chip lunch at Sechelt; there were no appropriate places to cook our planned lunch and as unloading the canoes took as long as loading them up in the first place, it was getting a little late in the afternoon.

After lunch we continued up the coast and found a great spot in the provincial camp ground at Porpoise Bay.
